Our car hire arrangements are made through Avis, the internationally respected car hire company, and include Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Airport/City Surcharge and Local Taxes. A full tank of petrol is supplied and you simply refill the tank or pay for the difference on return.
Car parking is not included in the holiday price (except for guests staying at the Augustin Hotel in Bergen, Norway) as many countryside resorts have plenty of free parking available for hotel guests. City centre hotels may have a small number of parking spaces allocated for their guests but these are not available to pre-book and are offered at an additional nightly cost on a first-come, first-served basis. There is however, a good supply of local multi-storey car parks available and some hotels have chargeable roadside parking outside or close to the hotel.
