The reconstruction of the town started immediately by a team of bright, young architects all under the age of 35. By 1907 the town was entirely complete and hailed the world’s most modern town, and little has changed over the last 100 years as the town still looks uniquely innovative and fresh – a testimony to the success of the town’s reconstruction.

Another hotspot is the Atlantic Ocean Park, an impressive aquarium that encourages all visitors to interact with the North Atlanic’s undersea world.
