This holiday combines Oslo and Bergen (Across

the Roof of Norway) with Flåm, overlooking the

Aurlandsfjord.

Flåm is a tiny village surrounded by steep mountain sides, roaring waterfalls and deep valleys overlooking the beautiful Aurlandsfjord, a slender branch of the Sognefjord.

It is a paradise for those seeking either a relaxing scenery-based holiday amongst spectacular nature with numerous walking opportunities and plenty to comings and goings to watch!

Despite its size, Flåm is quite a busy little port; here the Flåm Mountain Railway meets the boat for the journey along the Aurlands and Nærøy fjords, forming part of the route for the excursion ‘Norway in a Nutshell’. Cruise ships visit the harbour for lunch, sightseeing, shopping and trips on the railway and hikers, bikers, sailors and sightseers stop by for the same.  It is a meeting point for travellers from all over the globe and a wonderful starting point for excursions in the mountains or on the fjords.

Ægir Brewery and Pub is Flåm's very own micro-brewery serving their own beers alongside a very traditional menu of local and regional delicacies. The building itself is rather unique, built with Norse mythology and tradition as its theme. Guided tours are avilable.
