Suzel was awarded Norway Travel Ambassador of the Year 2009 by Innovation Norway.
The intention of the award is to honour those individuals among tour operators whose exceptional personal enthusiasm, drive and love of Norway sets them apart from the many other operators who also promote Norwegian products. The award was presented to Suzel’s husband and co-worker, Terry Shaw, during Innovation Norway’s workshop at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel on 11th June.
Suzel said ‘I’m thrilled to bits to have been chosen to receive the award and gutted that I was unable to accept it myself in London. Norway is perhaps the most beautiful country on earth and everything I have ever done to pass this message across has always been a pleasure. ‘
